This week, students and staff across our Summer Programs took time to learn about and celebrate Juneteenth.
At Ross Elementary: Signature Music School and Eisenhower Middle School: Signature Music School, students participated in a powerful all-school assembly presented by Dr. Regina Platt, who brought Juneteenth history to life while inspiring students through messages of youth empowerment and cultural pride.
At Jardine Elementary School, students explored the significance of Juneteenth through engaging learning activities and even created Juneteenth parfaits in the Kids Cooking summer course. ππ¨
We are grateful to our educators and community partners for creating these meaningful opportunities for TPS scholars! π€β€οΈπ
