Art Camp Fun Continues! ✨🎨
Our young artists have been busy creating all kinds of colorful masterpieces at Art Camp! Last week, students designed flag shirts, crafted lanterns, painted flower pots, made tile coasters, and brought clay monsters to life.

The creativity didn't stop there! Students also created bead butterflies, enjoyed tie-dye fun with water guns, made patriotic tic-tac-toe games, and explored several other exciting paper crafts. We love seeing our students express themselves through art while making new friends and lasting memories!

Teachers can be students, too! This week, Mrs. Robertson participated in the Seed to STEM workshop hosted by Kansas Corn, gaining hands-on experiences and classroom-ready resources that connect agriculture, science, technology, engineering, and math.

Middle and high school teachers from across the state got to participate in activities such as dissecting corn stalks, comparing soil samples, testing the nutrition content of corn mash, and making their own ethanol. Mrs. Robertson even got to go on a field trip to a working farm and an ethanol plant!

We're excited to see how these new ideas and lessons inspire our students this school year. Thank you, Kansas Corn, for investing in teachers and supporting STEM education across Kansas!

CHEER CAMP FUN! 📣

Our Christ the King Middle School cheerleaders had an incredible time at Cheer Camp! Over the past few days, they worked hard on motions, stunts, cheers, dances, and technique while building teamwork, confidence, and school spirit.

We are so proud of their dedication and enthusiasm and can't wait to see them shine on the court this year at games and pep assemblies. Great job, girls—we're cheering for you!

We are excited to share that Dr. Erin Vader has been appointed as our new superintendent of Catholic Schools! 📚

A respected leader in Catholic education with over 30 years of experience, Dr. Vader has served in a variety of diocesan leadership roles dedicated to advancing academic excellence and strengthening Catholic identity.

We will welcome Dr. Vader on August 1, 2026. Please keep her in your prayers as she prepares to begin her ministry with us!
