Calling all Lady Vikes! Below is a message from Coach Tinsley!

We are reaching out to Alumni Girls Basketball players. We would like to start a tradition with Legacy Letters. We want to continue to build on our program. We are so proud of each of our alumni not only for all they contributed while they were here at Seaman, but all of the great successes they have had and will continue after leaving SHS. We hope that in some small way, the experiences, relationships forged and lessons learned while a part of our program have made a positive impact on your lives. Our program has always been about the collective and not one individual person. We want to build on the excitement and share just how special our program is! Once you put on that jersey, you are forever a part of our team!

Coach Tinsley would like for former players to write a note about what it meant to them to wear the jersey and be a part of the Lady Viking program during their time. These letters collected will be shared with current players with a goal being every year a player receives a different letter from a former player. He will just need you to reach out to him at [email protected] if you would like to participate. Coach will then send you a format to follow. Thank you and 'Let's Go Lady Vikes!'

To everyone who has contacted us to walk with the Alumni Association float in the Homecoming Parade, meet at Garfield Park parking lot at 1:30pm. The parade starts promptly at 2pm and we're excited to have extra walkers to help pass out candy. Wear your red and blue and your walking shoes and come celebrate Homecoming with everyone!

Seaman FFA is hosting a Co****le Tournament that looks like fun!

Does anyone have people in their family that played basketball for Seaman long ago and you still have any memorabilia kicking around? Got someone looking for programs from the state basketball tournaments in 1932 and 1917. They would love to buy these programs if anybody has one available.

Who wants to represent their graduating class and walk with the Alumni Assn float at the Homecoming parade on Friday, Sept. 26? Or get several of your classmates together and come walk with us. We'll provide the candy and the float if you'll come walk and pass out candy to all the parade watchers!
