Week 1 of Summer Camp at Washburn Tech is officially in the books — and WOW, what a week. Thank you to every student who showed up ready to learn and every family who helped make it happen. The creativity, teamwork, and hands‑on action were next‑level.

Next week Tech will host summer camp for students entering grades 9-10.

Four Washburn Tech students receive new scholarship established by local businesses Four Washburn Tech students are the first recipients of a new scholarship established by North Topeka businesses.

Congratulations to everyone who attended Signing Day at Washburn Tech yesterday. The group is the first Topeka-area chapter in the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education, or FAME. FAME’s goal is to provide a pipeline for entry-level multiskilled maintenance technicians, who could work for manufacturers in and near the Capital City.

A new full-service salon is coming to north Topeka at the relocated Washburn Tech Academy of Cosmetology inside the old Kmart building. 💇‍♀️
