Kindergarten Academic Preparation Program - KAPP "Power Up"

The "KAPP" program is a summer kindergarten academic prep program for students entering a TPS kindergarten in the fall of the coming school year.

KAPP is provided by the YWCA Northeast Kansas, United Way of Greater Topeka, and Topeka Public Schools. The "KAPP" program is a kindergarten prep program for students entering a TPS kindergarten in Fall 2017. The program is held at Williams Magnet School.

We're gearing up for Kindergarten boot-camp! Our version of boot-camp, KAPP, prepares incoming Topeka Public Schools kindergartners to begin school in the fall. Give your child the best education boost you can this summer and enroll them in KAPP today!

Calling all incoming TPS kindergarten students! We are now enrolling for the 2019 YWCA Northeast Kansas KAPP program! If you have or know if an incoming TPS kindergartner with little to no preschool experience, help them get the kick start they deserve by enrolling in KAPP! KAPP provides children with social emotional skills and the academic knowledge they’ll need to be successful in school. The best part is, thanks to a grant from United Way of Greater Topeka, KAPP is a free program to all families who qualify.
