Last week student recognition:

Eagle High Flyers 🦅

Character Strong Award Recipients: These students were nominated for consistently demonstrating our character trait of respect 🧡

Students w/ 95% or higher attendance had their names entered on a spinner wheel. 6 names were selected and these students received a Sonic drink and got to participate in a game to win a lunch of their choice 🥤

Students who had great attendance last week also had their name entered into a drawing. Students were randomly selected from this drawing and earned a meal coupon 💙

McClure Elementary PTO has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon once again this year. The Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.

Our Read-A-Thon starts Sunday September 27, 2026.

This week, your student will receive instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.

We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/rVaKHX/1?utm=emailand following the simple instructions.

We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.

We hope EVERYONE participates.

Thanks so much,

McClure Elementary PTO
