Mrs. Hight and Mrs. Markham applied for and received Topeka Public Schools Foundation grants this school year. Mrs. Hight led a 'Cook the Book' afterschool club where students enjoyed a simultaneous book club and cooking club experience. 🥘📖
Mrs. Markham use her grant funds to install a music sound garden on our playground for all students to enjoy. 🎼🥁

We had so many students participate in our annual Talent Show yesterday! ⭐️

Reminder-tomorrow May 20th is the last day for grades K-4. School will be in session all day.

Thursday there is school only for 5th grade. Promotion is at 10am. Students will be dismissed following promotion.

Friday we had some field day fun!!! Thanks to all of the families that joined us on Friday! ☀️

Today was our 2nd annual House Family kickball tournament. House Fidato is this year’s champion! 🐬

Our 5th graders put their learning on display today during our first Career Wax Museum! Students researched careers of interest and transformed into professionals. Visitors had the opportunity to “bring them to life” and hear students share facts and information about their chosen careers.

A special thank you to our counselor, Mrs. Hight, and librarian, Mrs. Anderson, for guiding students through this project and supporting their research, writing, and presentation skills along the way.
