What a night!! Thank you Miss Baker and all of the Bishop staff for organizing such a special event for our special school!

Bishop Elementary Celebrates 51 years, before preparing to close its doors Bishop Elementary School invited the community to take a trip down memory lane one last time with a final Bulldog Bash, before it closes its doors after the school year.

The final Bishop strings concert! Ms. Snell took the show on the road to the World Cup Coffee Shop tonight... what a cool environment and setting for these students, who were awesome tonight!

Is your child going to be an upcoming PreK or Kindergarten student? Are you new to the district and haven’t gone through the registration process? Would you like help with registration? Our Welcome Center will be extending their hours on April 27 and May 10 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for anyone who needs help registering their student for the 2017-2018 school year.

We will be having a JOINT skating party this year for all Avondale West, Bishop and Shaner students!!! The skating parties will be at Sk8Away on Fairlawn!

The last FULL DAY OF SCHOOL for Bishop, Avondale West and Shaner students will be WEDNESDAY, MAY 24!!!! There will NOT be a half day of school for these students this year! :)

We had an amazing turnout for our Family Engagement Night! It was a fun "Camp Out" theme, and the kids had a great time! Thank you to all of the families who attended and the staff who made it possible!

Calling all businesses and vendors!!! On May 4th we will be having a Bulldog Bash Open House to commemorate Maude Bishop Elementary as we are closing the building this year. For every $25 donated to help fund this community event, we will advertise your business on an event flyer that will be displayed on our district webpage, at local businesses, school webpage and Facebook. Bishop students and staff were lucky to have author and former Kansas Jayhawk basketball player, Scott Novosel, read his book and share his story of inspiration and perseverance!! He was amazing!! Dr. Anderson stopped by as well!

Congratulations to these Bishop Bulldogs and their results from the cup stacking tournament!! We're so proud of you!!

The Topeka Public Schools Foundation’s discount card sales program benefits schools and patrons alike. The Foundation, in conjunction with Major Saver, works with businesses throughout the district to offer a $15 discount card providing the customer with 20 local buy-one-get-one-free offers. In most cases, redeeming only two offers offsets the cost of the card. Proceeds from the card campaign go to the participating schools and the Topeka Public Schools Foundation. Last year the Major Saver campaign brought in over $45,000 for Topeka students.
Discount card sales occur in schools starting Monday, January 30th through Monday, February 13th .
