✨ Exciting things are happening at West Indianola! ✨

Last week, several of our amazing teachers and volunteers helped install a brand-new Sensory Path in our hallways!
Sensory paths are a wonderful addition to elementary schools because they:
🧠 Help students improve focus and attention before returning to the classroom.
🏃 Encourage healthy movement and physical activity throughout the day.
💙 Support self-regulation by helping children manage their energy and emotions.
🤝 Promote coordination, balance, and motor skill development.
😊 Create a fun, engaging way for students to take a quick brain break.
The PTO and our Teachers are so excited for students to experience it when they return next month! We can't wait to see all the smiling faces filling our hallways again.

Day 5 Galactic Giveaways. Today was full of raffles, gifts, cheers, and smiles. To the staff that deserves way more than we can ever give Thank You! To the community that donates so much to our school it means so much to us and we appreciate it. To the people in the PTO Thank you for showing up and giving your time. To the parents for always giving and supporting us Thank You! Tami thank you for letting us create complete chaos in an already busy time and supporting us while we come up with the crazy ideas. Most of all Thank you to the children for raising the money and giving everyone a purpose to come together as one. This school is beyond amazing because of the staff we have. We Appreciate You!!!

To the wonderful people who transport our tiny humans every day safely THANK YOU!!! You mean the world to the kids!

Day 4! System Reboot: Massage Day and Dirty Soda Bar! We brought back a much requested Masseuse to give much needed massages. Then our amazing principal put on a dirty soda bar. We even gave away some school supplies!
