It’s that time to meet another member of this year’s Mortar Board executive staff!
Meet Meghan Burke who is serving as this year’s secretary!
When asked how Washburn has made an impact on her life, she answered, “Washburn has given me the most amazing friends and opportunities to further my leadership skills. I could not enter the next phase in my life without the skills I have gained since coming to washburn in 2017. I could not imagine my life without washburn and will be forever grateful for everything I have gained.”

Our first member introduction is Aaron Nelson!
•Aaron is serving as this year’s Treasurer on our Executive Board.
When asked why he loves Washburn, Aaron said, “I would say that my favorite thing about Washburn is that I feel connected to campus. The class size is smaller, and I feel like I can learn much better in this environment rather than a larger class size.”
We’re excited to have Aaron on board this year!
