People always ask me, “Why do you love Topeka High so much?” or they’ll say, “Topeka High wasn’t even that cool.”

Well sit down, let me tell you something…..

When I moved here from Texas, the schools I went to didn’t have what Topeka High has. There wasn’t a deep sense of tradition. There wasn’t a culture where people from different races, different backgrounds, different neighborhoods, and different walks of life came together and genuinely felt like one school.

TOPEKA HIGH IS DIFFERENT

The traditions. The culture. The history. The pride.

You don’t just graduate from Topeka High, you become part of something bigger than yourself. The alumni come back because they’re proud. They’re proud to represent the school, proud to pour back into the next generation, and proud to be part of a legacy that has helped shape this city.

So yeah… when I say I love Topeka High, I mean it.

So it’s always HOY HOY MIGHTY TROY, I bleed black and gold, FOREVER

And while we’re being honest…
That drumline still can’t be touched. PERIOD

Our Drumline has been performing all over northeast Kansas this summer, and we are happy to welcome our new staff for the upcoming school year! Hoy, Hoy! 😀🎶💛🖤🤩🥁
