Look who came back to cheer on the Wildcats Friday night!

The Hayden Class of 2006 was back on campus celebrating their 20th Class Reunion Weekend, and judging by the smiles, they haven’t forgotten how to have a good time together!

Twenty years may have passed since graduation, but some things never change. The friendships, the memories, the laughter, and that special connection to Hayden are still going strong.

This is what we love about our alumni community. You may graduate from Hayden, but Hayden never really leaves you!

One of the meaningful ways a school can recognize individuals and families who have made an impact is by connecting their name to a place that holds significance within the school community.

A name on a classroom, scholarship, field, facility, or special space does more than recognize a moment in time. It helps tell a story, preserve a connection, and remind future generations of the people who helped shape the school along the way.

🏈💙💛 A Special Homecoming Moment for Hayden

This Friday’s Homecoming game will include a very special moment in Hayden’s history.

Earlier this year, the Hayden Board approved naming our football field in honor of the Tom Stringer Family. Because the naming of an entire facility requires approval from the Archbishop, a formal request was made to name our football stadium the Tom Stringer Family Stadium.

We are pleased to share that Archbishop McKnight has officially approved the naming.

At halftime of Friday night’s Homecoming game, we will proudly unveil the new Tom Stringer Family Stadium sign. 🏈

This recognition celebrates the Stringer family and their lasting connection to Hayden, while adding another chapter to the history and tradition of our school.

We hope our students, families, alumni and friends will join us Friday night for this special moment.

In 2023, the Topeka IABC Organization established a scholarship for students majoring in communications or a related field. This year, Isabella Glotzbach, graduate of Hayden Catholic High School, received the Topeka Area Communicators Scholarship.

🎉💙💛 Alumni Spotlight | Starting College Strong!

What a way to kick off a college career!

Hayden alum Mateo competed in his first college tournament at the Drury Tournament in Nevada, Missouri, and came away with a 3rd place overall finish! Even better, his teammates swept the top three individual spots and earned the team title! 🏆

From competing as a Wildcat to taking on the next level, we love watching our alumni continue to challenge themselves, grow, and succeed.

Congratulations, Mateo! Your Hayden family is cheering you on, and we can’t wait to see where the rest of your college journey takes you! 🐾

Congratulations to Ms. Kate Nicolay, kindergarten teacher at Logan Avenue, for being selected as the district’s 2027 Kansas Horizon Award elementary nominee! She will now complete the application process for a chance to be named a Horizon Award recipient. Winners will be honored in February 2027. The Kansas Horizon Award, sponsored by the Kansas State Department of Education, celebrates outstanding first-year teachers who show excellence in the classroom and stand out as exceptional educators.

We’re capping off the evening with a Homecoming Fireworks Extravaganza worthy of 115 years of Hayden.
