Tuesday, Aug. 11! Register for our webinar on unlocking housing goals for local governments with the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act.

The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act is the most comprehensive federal housing package in more than three decades that offers incentives and supports for both the public and private sector to reduce housing costs and expand housing supply.

For local governments in particular, the legislation improves existing programs like CDBG and HOME and authorizes several new competitive grant programs for infrastructure necessary for housing, adoption of pre-approved architectural designs, preservation of existing affordable housing, and more.

Join experts from NLC to learn more about the changes and programs in this legislation, when these programs will become available, and steps local governments can take now in anticipation of new programs and opportunities.

We've probably delivered an additional 20 laptops for those seeking training, employment or are participating in some DCF Approved Job Training program & activity since this report 💻

This progress came about after we received 2 NO's from DCF Executive Administrators... but persistence has its own lane when it comes to negotiating...!

Now we are working to make sure those seeking food assistance (SNAP) and having work requirements can also access this opportunity to secure training and gainful employment 😎
