Congratulations to Mrs. Jill Becker, Special Education teacher at SMS, for being named USD 345 Secondary Teacher of the Year at our back to school Convocation last Friday!

Seaman Middle School Back to School Night is today from 5:00-6:30 pm. This is a come and go event where students can walk their schedule, practice opening their locker, drop off supplies, and meet their teachers. We are looking forward to seeing you tonight!
Last year's YB kids are excited about the yearbook!
SMS yearbooks have arrived, and we are so proud of how they turned out! Hard work pays off!! As soon as our new YB staff can get them sorted, yours will be delivered.

Congratulations to our Seaman Middle School FBLA students for representing SMS at the FBLA National Contest in San Antonio! We are especially proud to celebrate SMS FBLA being recognized as a Gold Seal Chapter! Great job, Vikings!

Congratulations to our 12 Seaman Middle School students who represented SMS at the National History Day National Contest this week! A special congratulations goes to Adi Brown, Tarryn Rhodes, and Bryanna Dowty, whose group documentary on Lewis Hine placed in the top ten in the nation and was the recipient of the Affiliate Award for an Outstanding Entry from Kansas! Great job, Vikes!
