The Washburn Rural North Middle School Raven Media Yearbook Staff recently earned a Superior rating from the Kansas Scholastic Press Association for its inaugural yearbook!

The yearbook was created by a team of 18 eighth-grade students – now freshmen – who spent six months capturing stories, memories, and moments from the school year. Their work was evaluated in the areas of theme, coverage, photography, writing, and design.

What an incredible accomplishment for their very first yearbook!

We spy with our little eye… our internationally award-winning safety competition driver! 🏆

We were proud to assist the Kansas Highway Patrol on this important public safety campaign.

As students head back to school next week, remember to slow down, stay alert, and always obey school bus STOP arms. Let’s work together to keep our kids safe!
