Due to the Retirement of KanPERC/PMAK Education Director, We are hiring!
The Propane Marketers Association of KS and KanPERC are hiring an Education and Safety Coordinator. This position is a full-time position based out of Topeka, KS, however, a hybrid employee will be considered. Under the direction of the Executive Vice President they will perform professional work in all safety and education programs in accordance with state and federal laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the transportation, storage, handling and installation of systems of propane within the state. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 54 and 58, DOT regulations, Kansas propane statutes and administrative rules are required. This position will require traveling statewide and to some out of state trainings. Knowledge of principles and practices of training and curriculum development, including classroom and other on-the-job educational methods, procedures and techniques, as well as excellent presentation skills are required.
