I will continue to be unapologetically me. I thank God for the revelations and provision. I am forever grateful of where I am and where I am going. The light within me will never be dimmed because, as I've said before, I am perfectly imperfect. Self love comes in increments but when you realize the power that you inherit you become unstoppable. I am not for everyone and thats okay. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

It has taken me so long to launch this because I need to hone in and create a comprehensive program that reflects my heart and passion. My focus for the last few years has been growing in my role as a doula. As I am still growing as a birth worker, I am still praying to bring baby signing classes in a new way. Suggestions and feedback are greatly appreciated. I have in-depth visions of how I would want this to look, but I realize that I may need to start somewhere to get where I see this to be. This is Hispanic Heritage Month! Well it officially starts September 15- October 15. The following countries celebrate their independence on September 15: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Mexico and Chile follows right after. I am Dominican and although to me the word Hispanic still somewhat falls oddly(for multiple reasons) to my ears, it is simply a word that refers to those from Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. As we all know, Dominicans like many other Caribbean islands were colonized by Spain. So is this something to celebrate? For many yes and for other no. I choose to simply embrace the positive and appreciate that I speak two languages. :-D
