Get Started Playing Ukulele

If you are in Kihei, Maui and have a "not too precious" ukulele laying around your home that you could let my student borrow till Oct 21st. Please comment. Thanks so much! Of course, if you know someone in Kihei whom might be willing to lend a uke, please let me know. (Of course we know she could buy another uke, but she has one back home in Canada and doesn't want another right now, there are extenuating circumstances.) Thanks for considering!

🎉🩷 LET’S PLAY UKULELE & CELEBRATE DOLLY! 🩷🎉
A HUGE THANK YOU to the amazing crew at Froggy’s for dreaming up this super-fun idea and bringing it to life! 🥳🫶👩‍🎤
And yes… I’m bringing my “teaching ukuleles” just like you requested! 🎸✨
I’ll be there starting at 5:00 PM, and here’s the best part:
👉 You do NOT need any musical experience!
👉 You don’t even need to know how to play ukulele!
👉 By the end, you’ll be playing the chorus of “9 to 5”! 🎶💃
I absolutely LOVE teaching adults who have always wanted to play an instrument but never thought they could. ❤️
I’ll be using my super-easy system for brand-new beginners — The Melanie Method! 🫶🎸✨ You’ll be surprised at just how quickly you can make music.
So grab a friend who has always wanted to try ukulele and come join us!
And most importantly… let’s celebrate the one, the only, DOLLY PARTON! 👩‍🎤💫🩷🎉
Come ready to laugh, learn, play, and have FUN! 🥳🎶🫶

Happy National Online Learning Day! 🎉👩‍💻🎓🎶
This quote by Donna J. Abernathy was written way back in 1999—and she couldn’t have been more right! Her words still ring true today, but what’s especially amazing is just how far online learning has come.

In 1999, who would have imagined that one day you could learn to play the UKULELE live with a teacher and a community of fellow students from anywhere in the world?! 🌍

Yet here we are!

Through my live ukulele classes on Zoom, I’ve had the incredible privilege of teaching hundreds of students around the world. Along the way, something even more special has happened: our Zoom classroom has grown into a wonderfully welcoming community—a true ukulele family where we encourage one another, support one another, and have endless fun making music together. And I couldn’t be more proud or grateful ☺️💜
