Hi- I am Brittany Nielson,
Over the past 5 years I have had successful students and studios in Missoula, MT and Idaho Falls, ID and I am now serving the Henderson/Las Vegas, NV area. Beyond my 5 years as a studio teacher, I also taught for 2 years at the collegiate level at the University of Montana and have a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance. I work with all ages (students under 12 subject to

audition to assess physical, emotional, and mental preparedness for private study) focusing mostly on classical technique, as it is the healthiest form of singing; however, I allow my students the opportunity to explore other genres that interest them including but not limited to: Broadway, Jazz, Pop, Country. Lessons are $15 for 45 minutes (open to all interested parties as long as I have room), and $25 for 1 hour 10 minutes (available by audition ONLY).

Hello! I took this weekend to discuss how I'm doing with my husband and come up with a game plan. I'm not doing as well as I had hoped I would be at this point post surgery. Sitting is very uncomfortable and I am struggling to focus because of the meds I'm on to manage pain. At this point, I'm putting a pause on voice lessons until after my doctor clears me after my second surgery. My second surgery should be scheduled sometime this week. I will be sure to keep everyone posted and give ample notice when I will be back in the game so people can schedule convenient times.

If anyone has any pressing auditions or events coming up that they feel they need some assistance for, dont be afraid to reach out. I can see how I'm feeling and handle things on a case by case, day by day basis.

I love you all and want you all to be successful and feel I'm supporting you. Thank you for your understanding at this crazy time.

A loving reminder to all students: I have messaged those of you individually that I failed to remind in person- no lessons until after November 1. I am in show mode and my house is a wreck...just keeping it real. I am so blessed to perform as Maria in the Sound of Music at the Old Grantsville Church...but it means some other plates I normally spin need to drop for a hot minute.
