Attention FFA Members!

It is officially fair week, and we need your help to run the food booth. We are looking for adult and student workers to cover shifts during the following timeframes:
💙 Wednesday Afternoon
💛 Thursday Morning & Afternoon
💙 Sunday Morning

Day 3: Our day of tours and fun!

In the morning we got to tour Ozark Fisheries where students got to learn about aquaculture and the art of raising goldfish and koi for commercial resale.

Next we toured Indy Speedway where we got to ride around the track, stop and take pictures and walk around the museum.

Lastly we ended the night with some fun at the Thirteenth Hour Haunted House outside Indy. Marcus and Jesse had lots of fun scaring me along with the haunted house workers!

Day 2:

FFA members spent the day at the Indianapolis Convention Center attending workshops, shopping in the shopping center, meeting businesses, exploring new technology and meeting college reps.

Afterwards they attended the first opening session of the 98th annual National FFA Convention where 67,000 members, alumni, and guests were in attendance. They also got to listen to a tremendous keynote speaker A'Ric Johnson. A'Ric talked about crushing limitations, being authentically yourself and overcoming any obstacles life has to throw at you with just a little bit of flair!

Day 2 Recap:

Flambeau FFA members spent a packed day going to workshops where they learned from the the 77th Alice in Dairyland about Wisconsin Ag Commidities, learned about Parlimentary procedure from UW-River Falls students and about growing connections with alum Katie Zimmer!

They all attended two sessions where they saw countless awards, recognitions and speeches from Mr. Randy Romanski, Wisconsin State Secretary of Agriculture and an address from Deb Ihm Wisconsin Foundation Board President.

Afterwards members enjoyed a fun dance and co****le tournament put on by Wisconsin FFA. Konnyr and Landyn even got pictures with their favorite state officer Tyson Gehrke

Day 1 of the 96th annual State FFA convention started off strong for Flambeau FFA!

The chapter earned two awards in the opening session this morning for membership. Flambeau earned the P.R.I.D.E. +10 award by increasing our membership by at least 10 members this year
Our second award was awarded to one chapter per section that had the biggest membership increase for the year. Flambeau won for section 1 with an increase of 49 members.

After awards students listened attentively to an address my Govenor Tony Evers, State association awards, an address my Wisconsin Alumni President Nick Lowe, and listened to our keynote speaker, 24-25 National FFA Central Region Vice President Mary Schriber.

Afterwards members attended workshop where they could choose from a variety of topics to learn about. Members Landyn B. and Jesse L. said: "I learned how to write a mission statement for myself in the future and how to plan to achieve my goals".

Later tonight students will be attending a concert put on by Chris Kroeze!
