The cross country team kicked off the year with a great start at the Ladysmith meet. Every athlete put forth great effort to finish the race. Congratulations to the following high school athletes for finishing in the top 10: Tristan (4th), Wyatt (8th), and Ellie (3rd).

Our middle school team of girls ran a strong race and will continue to improve. Congratulations to Ali for winning the middle school girls race and Ashley for placing (7th).

There's still time to join this season!

Welcome to our Open House!

Today is the day, and we are excited to show off our new and improved facilities! Our maintenance crew has been hard at work, completing some annual maintenance as well as referendum projects. Some of it is still under construction, but Mr. Stamper has created this fun preview to show you what we've been working on!

Today’s shout out goes to Lisa Ross (Paraprofessional). Thank you for all you do!

Raising Highly Capable Kids classes are coming back to Flambeau! These valuable classes provide great resources to our local families. Reach out to them if you are interested in signing up!

Raising Highly Capable Kids is a proven parenting class that focuses on the 40 Developmental Assets determined by the Search Institute's research over decades and over 5 million subjects. The more assets a child grows up in their home with, the more likely they are to become healthy, caring, and responsible children. The goal is to equip kids with the power to make healthy life choices--including a proven increase in their GPA.

🚨 Open House & School Picture Day: August 25th 🚨

We are looking forward to welcoming students and families back for our Open House on Tuesday, August 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Open House is an opportunity to take care of important back-to-school needs before the first day of classes. During your visit, families can:

📷 Have student school pictures taken
🤑 Pay bills and fees
🚌 Confirm bussing and transportation information
👩‍⚕️ Take care of health-related needs
❓ Connect with staff about other educational needs or questions
📝 Before Open House, please remember to complete your family's online registration through Skyward.

🍛 The Flambeau Forever Foundation will be handing out a free school calendar to each family, and a free meal will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

📷Picture Day Information:

To help Picture Day run smoothly and keep wait times as short as possible, families are asked to remain behind the background while students are being photographed and not stand next to the photographer. Families will still be able to stand with their student before the photo to make any last-minute adjustments to hair or clothing.

Cahill Studios will send important Picture Day information from [email protected], including the link to your student's online gallery. Please watch for messages from this address.

You can also visit the Cahill Studios website to view more than 100 free background options and the Picture Day Survival Guide.

Ordering Photos -

Photo galleries will be available online to view and order 2–5 business days after Picture Day.

Orders placed within seven days of receiving the gallery link will have the option of free shipping to the school and will receive a free low-resolution digital download with any Package or Build Your Own Package bundle.

Retake Day -

If you are not satisfied with your student's first photo, you can wait to order and have a new picture taken on Retake Day, Thursday, October 1.
