Tonopah Valley High School Civil Air Patrol cadets recently attended a Field Training Exercise at Patagonia Lake, where they participated in hands-on activities focused on leadership, teamwork, safety, and emergency preparedness.
During the training, cadets learned and practiced water safety, emergency rescue procedures, hiking and land navigation, physical fitness (PT), and the use of telescopes for astronomy and observation.
Training at Patagonia Lake gave our cadets the opportunity to apply what they have learned during regular Civil Air Patrol meetings in a real-world outdoor environment while building confidence, responsibility, and teamwork.
