WOW! They did it again. The Northern Oklahoma College Livestock Judging Team has won the North American International Livestock Expo Junior College Division judging competition. Another premier livestock judging competition. Oklahoma State University won the Collegiate level competition.

We are very proud of our students on the championship team, as well as all the livestock judging team students. Thank you Coach Jennifer Bedwell for putting us on the map. You do a wonderful job with our students.

It’s that time of the year again! Sophomore spotlights have become a fun tradition with our livestock judging team over the past three years and with 16 returning sophomores, we’re starting early this year. First up on our sophomore spotlights is Parker Fleming. A native of Jasper Georgia, Parker grew up exhibiting swine through his local 4H and FFA chapters. He is majoring in Agri Science and is an active member of our NOC Aggie Club. Upon graduating, Parker hopes to continue his collegiate judging career. We are very excited to see what the future has in store for him!

One of our own visited the Oklahoma State Capitol, along with 33 other young people who brought home national champions and reserve national champions from a national cattle show this summer! Lane Blankenship met with Governor Stitt, Secretary of Agriculture, Blayne Arthur and other state lawmakers. Lane is currently a sophomore here at NOC, majoring in animal science with a pre vet option.
