This week we had Carrie Koch came and taught the animal science class how to make soap! The students learned that the ingredients in the soap come from animal byproducts. Students got to pick their own scents and colors, to create the perfect product! I can’t wait to see how these turn out!

Chieftain Floral is finally ready to roll out their monthly arrangement Google Form! In this form, you will be asked a series of questions about wanting to purchase a monthly arrangement from the Chieftain Floral class at the high school!

Arrangements will be $30 each, and we will be releasing a new Google Form each month. This form is for the month of September.

If you ordered a chapter T-shirt through the Google Form, payments were due today. If you haven’t had a chance to get your payment in yet, please make sure it is turned in by Monday, August 24th so your items can still be ordered!

That’s a wrap on another successful FFA Back to School BBQ! We enjoyed spending time with all of our FFA members and their families!

A HUGE thank you to the Tonganoxie VFW Post 9271 for letting us use their facilities, to the First State Bank & Trust for donating water, and lastly our Tonganoxie High School FFA Alumni & Supporters Chapter for helping us purchase the supplies!

We are looking forward to another great year with our members!

The Gift of Blue Program helps provide official FFA jackets to students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to have one. Every FFA member deserves the chance to feel proud, confident, and a part of the blue jacket tradition.

If you know an FFA member who could benefit from this program, encourage them to fill out the Gift of Blue application by September 21st!

We’ve got you for dinner tomorrow! Make sure to stop by the VFW for some burgers and hotdogs. We will have co****le starting around 6:45 p.m. $10 per team, must pay in cash!

Join us next Tuesday for our Annual Back To School BBQ! Starting at 6 p.m. we will have FREE food and lots of fun for all of our current and new members! Everyone is encouraged to bring your family and friends. We will also be having a Co****le Tournament, details for that are included on the flyer.
