Holiday travel season is coming, and I have good news for parents flying with kids! 🎄✈️

We can all finally stop the endless midnight scrolling, close those 14 browser tabs, and stop asking ChatGPT for family travel answers we can’t fully trust.😮‍💨

There’s now a family travel app built for exactly this, and everything is back linked direct to the source or verified by real family travel experts (I helped with ALL of the car seat content!). As a CPST, that part matters a lot to me. You deserve answers you can actually rely on when you’re packing up the kids and heading to the airport.

It’s free to download - Link in my bio ✈️❤️

You’re not alone. 🤍

There is SO much to know when flying with a baby for the first time: car seats, strollers, airline policies, what to pack, what to do when they won’t stop crying at 30,000 feet. And honestly? None of us get it right 100% of the time because every trip is different!

It’s totally okay. We all live and learn, and the fact that we even get on an airplane with our babies is an accomplishment in itself!!!

For years I’ve answered thousands of questions from parents in my DMs, helping families fly with more confidence. So I decided to put it all in one place: Velivolo, an app built for parents flying with little ones. 🔗 Link in bio.

💛 Share this with a friend who’s flying soon, so she can fly with confidence too.

All the travel guides talk about visiting NYC ... But nobody talks about NYC with a kid and car seats.

🚗The rideshare / taxi exemption, the Uber Black trap, the subway stroller reality …. these are the nitty gritty logistics of the trip. And most families don’t think about it until they’re already in the car.

👉🏼My brother lives there, so this city is practically a second home for us (yay free place to stay!).

🏙️We have New York City with a car seat down, and it’s so normal for us now we barely think about it . (Fun fact: We’ve Ubered over 200 times with a car seat!) 🫶🏼 That’s why I want to share this with you.

Save this. Share it with a family headed to NYC. And if you have questions, drop them below. ⬇️

A major travel outlet just called a knockoff CARES harness a “safety hack” …. and linked parents straight to it.😬 They’ve since corrected their error, but they have not addressed it - leaving parents who may have accidentally purchased the counterfeit hanging out to dry. 👎🏼

When media outlets talk child safety, there’s only one accepted outcome: accuracy. This is just one more example of how safe air travel for kids gets treated as an afterthought by the people who should know better.

✈️ I’ve been educating parents on the CARES harness for the last 5 years as an internationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) across the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK. I’ve used this product with my own child, I’ve discussed it on podcasts and YouTube, and I’ve even made a full “how-to-install” on airplane video breaking it down step by step inside the Velivolo app. If you’re consider using the CARES, or car seat on your flight I encourage parents to Download the Velivolo family travel app (link in bio) to learn how to use this harness correctly, and the nuances every parent should know about, not just where to buy it.

📍Save this for your next flight, and send it to a parent who needs it. Child safety should never be a “hack.”
