Please join us as we welcome Mr. Duddy back to Donovan. Welcome home!

Welcome home, Mr. Duddy! Donovan Catholic is thrilled to welcome Dan Duddy back to the Griffin family as a member of our Theology faculty.

For over 20 years, Mr. Duddy has inspired students, educators, athletes, and families to discover their purpose and the difference their lives can make. A former teacher in both public and parochial settings, and former guidance counselor and head football coach at Donovan Catholic for more than a decade, he has returned to teach Theology.

As a Catholic Athletes for Christ "Cathletes" leader, he served as National Coordinator for more than 10 years, while developing the Cathletes curriculum and reaching more than 100 high schools and colleges. Mr. Duddy helped put Donovan on the national map for Sports and Spirituality as the model flagship program for such.

He has been inducted into four sports halls of fame and received the Virtues of St. Paul Award from Sports Faith International, sponsored by The Chicago Bears. He is a retreat facilitator with the King's Men, hosting 'Into the Wild', 'Samson', and 'David' retreats.

Married 42 years and father of eight, his testimony is shaped by both joy and loss, including the death of his 19-year-old son in a drunk driving accident, which powerfully informs his message to young people about the value of their choices. He hosts the weekly radio program, 'The We Will Revolution', out of Greater Boston for more than a decade, and is completing his book, '22 Eyes: Take My Heart and Give Me Yours'. His wife, Maura is a proud alum along with 6 of his children.

We are so excited for this next chapter and for the impact Mr. Duddy will continue to make in the lives of our Griffins. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Duddy back home to Donovan Catholic!

The Donovan Alumni community is invited to come together in support of the Inaugural Teddy Golubowski III Memorial Foundation Golf Outing, taking place this week on September 10, at Shark River Golf Course.

The foundation was established by the Golubowski family in loving memory of Theodore “Teddy” Golubowski III ’16, who passed away in June 2025 after a brief battle with metastatic choriocarcinoma.

Teddy was halfway through his training at the Ocean County Police Academy when he became ill. In the time since his passing, his family has worked to ensure that his commitment to service, compassion, determination, and kindness continues to make an impact.

Through the foundation, scholarships have already been awarded to five Ocean County Police Academy recruits who attend the academy without pay, including two members of Teddy’s own academy class.

⛳ The inaugural golf outing will help the foundation continue providing scholarships in Teddy’s name and carrying forward the legacy of a fellow Griffin who meant so much to so many.

The Golubowski family is incredibly grateful for the love, prayers, and support they have received from the Donovan Catholic community. We are proud to share this special event with our alumni family and encourage our Griffins to support in any way they can, whether by golfing, sponsoring, donating, or simply sharing Teddy’s story.

Once a Griffin, always a Griffin. 🦅

Join as we welcome Class of 2007 alumni Brandon back to our faculty! 💙 Once a Griffin, Always a Griffin.

🎶 Welcome Home, Mr. Tuzio! 🎬 Donovan Catholic is excited to welcome Brandon Tuzio ’07 back to his alma mater as a member of our faculty!

After his time as a Donovan student, Mr. Tuzio graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2011, where he studied Vocal Performance with a focus on Songwriting and Music Theory. Over the past 15 years, he has built a diverse career in music and the creative arts, teaching voice and instrumental lessons in Boston, Asheville, and Philadelphia while also performing in bands, scoring films, producing music for himself and other artists, and working across visual media.

Now, he brings that real-world creative experience back to Donovan, where he will teach Band, Media Technology, History & Culture of Music, and Broadcasting & Video Production.

For Mr. Tuzio, music education goes far beyond the traditional idea of “band.” From performance and songwriting to music production, film scoring, technology, broadcasting, and video, his classes will give students opportunities to explore the many ways music and media come together in today’s creative world.

A self-described film nerd with a love for animation, Mr. Tuzio is excited to share his passions with a new generation of Griffins and help students discover their own creative interests along the way.
