LSC-Tomball’s lifePATH™ is a four-year model of post-secondary educational opportunities for students who are neurodiverse.

Lone Star College-Tomball’s lifePATH™ program provides a unique opportunity for adult students to learn the social and skill expectations needed in the business world, the academic world, and personal relationships. LSC-Tomball’s lifePATH™ is a four-year comprehensive model of post-secondary educational opportunities for students who have disabilities that affect executive functioning. Students ca

n earn various Lone Star College certificates in Occupational Studies, ACT® WorkKeys® Assessments, the ACT® National Career Readiness Certification, and can choose to earn college credit in general Lone Star College credit courses. Students can exit lifePATH after two-years, receiving a Lone Star College Certificate in Foundational Occupational Studies. All students who choose a four-year lifePATH™ option participate in an internship during their fourth year.

🌟 Alumni Spotlight: Deniz 🌟

We are excited to celebrate lifePATH alumnus Deniz and his continued educational journey! 🎓✨

After his time with lifePATH, Deniz will be attending the Pragmatic Studies Program at the University of St. Thomas. We are incredibly proud to see him continue pursuing his goals and building upon the skills, knowledge, and experiences he developed throughout his college journey.

Reflecting on his experience with lifePATH, Deniz shared:

"LifePATH in the last few years taught me a plethora of things. It all started out with virtual class sessions each week with Microsoft Teams & gradually I learned about things especially with social engagement & combining things such as GRIT, growth, & having tutoring sessions & how it changed me & how I have grown so much from the very beginning especially differently.

My advice for current & future LifePATH students as they head towards their 3rd & 4th year is to find friends, build an impactful group & form teamwork at the same time combined & make an effort to accomplish & achieve something. I thought those things were pretty easy & medium at the same time even though they were somewhat difficult too sometimes."

Deniz's commitment to personal growth, learning, and perseverance has been inspiring to witness. We know he will continue to accomplish great things as he begins this exciting new chapter at the University of St. Thomas. 💙🐺
