🪵✨Check out the beautiful work this amazing family did during their 3-Day Woodworking Intensive Class! They chose a stunning mix of walnut, oak, maple, purple heart, and jatoba woods to build these custom boards. Though the kids faces are hidden (privacy)—we promise they were smiling ear-to-ear behind their boards!

Look at these absolute masterpieces from one of our recent Level 1 group classes! This incredible mother-daughter duo came in, mastered shop tool safety, and left with these gorgeous, hand-crafted heirloom cutting boards. 🪵

❤️They picked out some stunning wood combinations for their projects:
🎨 Mom’s Board: A beautiful custom mix of American Sycamore, Maple, and Purpleheart.
🎨 Daughter’s Board: A rock-solid, vibrant combination of Purpleheart and Jatoba.

Hello everyone! We wanted to introduce ourselves! 👋✨
We are Aaron and Lacey, and we run The Skilled Smith Workshop!

A few years ago, God put it on our hearts to start teaching this useful skilled trade and we are SO glad we listened. We love offering both adults and youth an outlet to grow and get off those screens! 🪚

We teach step by step woodshop classes for beginners to advanced; we have something for all skill levels! Aaron is the lead teacher, patiently guiding you through every class and I (Lacey) handle all the behind the scenes and customer chats!

🛠️ Want the group class experience (and the group discount)? Your bench is ready! You don’t need to recruit a whole crew to get our special group rate at The Skilled Smith Workshop. We’ve opened up dedicated weekly slots where you can join other makers to build, learn, and save.
🪵 What we’re building: Beginners start by mastering tool safety and crafting a beautiful heirloom cutting board. From there, level 2 we dive into creative joinery techniques to assemble custom wooden stools (just like the guys are doing in the photo)!
Choose the option that fits you best:
🗓️ Option 1: Join Our Scheduled Groups (Best Value!)
Mondays: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Tuesdays: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
