More GUN Law changes!!

In a nutshell, gun permits have been deemed UNCONSTITUTIONAL beginning now and mandatory by Jan 1st 2026 in ALL states.

I've always been a 2nd amendment guy and my teaching is ALWAYS focused more on Use Of Force, Situational Awareness, Self Defense, The abilities to use one along with liabilities.

Since Jan 23rd 2023 Texans at least 18 years up can carry a handgun in public. They have ALWAYs been allowed to carry in their vehicles, however can now carry it basically anywhere with a few restrictions that licensed carriers were exempt from.
I have always been more about education of when/where you can carry as well as harping on the responsibilities and liabilities that come with your choices.

I am quite sure there will still be restrictions on where one may carry and honestly think it's a good thing.
After 35 years in Texas Law Enforcement with hands on expertise, knowledge and investigations, folks need to be aware of EVERYTHING that goes along in your choice to carry. With 100s and 100s of students I've taught, I am only aware of a few that did stupid crap landing them in criminal AND civil courts.

I have currently been in Texas law enforcement for 35 years... there's no argument in the findings of gun crimes by 18-20 year olds. However in January 2023 a federal judge overturned Tx law prohibiting 18-20 year olds from getting their LTC (License to Carry). 18 year olds have always been allowed to have handguns in their vehicles, and can now carry around those fi****ms with or without a license. Hopefully the smart one's will learn the laws.
What's not being said in Liberal CNN report (below) is that these little 'misunderstood youths' obviously didn't give a damn about the law anyway..🤔😳.

My son is 18 and he and a few of his friends wanted the class. I have only conducted a few classes for this age group.

When this turns into effect, I don't think by any means that this is going to cause more crime.

This is phenomenal handgun. Canik TTI Combat 9 mm, 18+1 or a 20+1 magazine.
It's already factory milled for various red dot sight. Great trigger pull at about 3.6 -3.8 pound and a great trigger reset.
It's been difficult to find this 'kit', but I found one in stock at my local Academy Outdoors after it was ordered for someone and never picked up.
Now at 35 years in law enforcement, this is my first 9mm duty weapon.
My reflex sight is coming today...I feel like a kid at Christmas!!
