Last week our amazing Advanced Academics Specialist, Dr. Kelly, hosted our annual GT Showcase.
Our students were so excited to share their projects with their families and staff members who took the time to join!
Our 4th Grade Wildcats sure know how to make an exit! To celebrate the end of their Lakewood era, our 4th grade students took over the skating rink for an epic Glow Skate Party.
While we are sad to see them go, we know they are ready to shine bright as they transition to Northpointe Intermediate School!

🤠 History Comes to Life at the Lakewood’s 4th Grade Texas Wax Museum! 🤠
Step aside, Madame Tussauds…the 4th Grade Wildcats just brought the legends of the Lone Star State right here to our hallways!
Yesterday, our hallway was transformed into a living history book for the 4th Grade Texas Wax Museum. After weeks of deep-dive research into the lives, accomplishments, and lasting contributions of famous Texans, our students stepped into their boots (and hats, and flight suits!) to present their hard work.
Our students didn’t just learn history, they honored the spirit of Texas with their creativity and confidence. We are so impressed by the leadership and public speaking skills our oldest Wildcats displayed! 🤩
