Step By Step Christian School helps prepare children for a lifetime of Christian service.

Step By Step Christian School is a private Christian educational facility with no direct ties to any particular church or denomination. As such, we endeavor to support families from all walks of the Christian faith as they train their children in the love and reverence of the Lord. We believe that:

· God is our creator

· The Bible is the true inspired word of God

· Jesus

Christ is the divine son of God

· By accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we achieve salvation

· It is our role, as Christian educators and leaders, to teach the children by our lives, behaviors, and teachings:

o To know God on a personal basis, and to be known by Him

o To love God and to acknowledge His love for us

o To serve God and His creation

o To know the Bible and be able to apply the Bible's lessons to life as a guide for both salvation and daily decision making

As we finish our summer and head back to school, I want to congratulate all of our SBS swimmers for all the hard work they put in this summer.

So much growth and confidence came out to the pool yesterday!! Yelling, “Ms. McDowell, watch me do this by myself.” and “I’m not scared anymore.” The students found joy in the water.

As we build a community of water aware and water safe(r) students, I thank the parents for trusting us and supporting us in this effort. Washing those suits and towels (daily, for months) going out and practicing on weekends, and giving your students permission to be brave is exactly what lead us to this point in their growth. Thank you families for your encouragement and love.

See you next summer at the pool!

Big shout out to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for coming to our school to educate our students on the amazing dogs that serve our community!
