SEPTEMBER IS HERE. 🍂🐴
AND 2027 BREEDING PLANS ARE STARTING NOW.

The best breeding programs don’t begin when breeding season arrives. They begin with a plan.

Which mare do you want to build around?
Which stallion is the right cross?
Do you have limited or valuable semen?
Could ICSI give you additional options with the genetics that matter most to your program?

Our partners at Equine IVF, are here to help you understand those options—from oocyte aspiration and ICSI to embryo production and vitrification.

And remember: your mare doesn’t necessarily have to come to Texas. Our team travels throughout the country for scheduled aspiration opportunities.

🧬 Your mare. Your stallion. Your future.

What cross are you thinking about for 2027? Tell us in the comments—or contact our team and let’s start planning.

🐴🎓 BREEDER’S ASSISTANT ALUMNI — SHOW US YOUR BABIES!

This one is especially for our Breeder’s Assistant alumni!

There’s nothing quite like learning embryo transfer in class, putting those skills to work back home, and then months later seeing the result standing on four legs. ❤️

If you performed an embryo transfer after learning the technique at The Breeder’s Assistant and that pregnancy resulted in a foal born this year, WE WANT TO SEE YOUR BABY! 🐴🍼

📸 Share a photo in the comments and tell us a little about your story — when you attended The Breeder’s Assistant, the foal’s name, and where you’re from. And if you have a photo from when you performed the transfer, we'd love to see that too!

For us, these foals represent so much more than a successful embryo transfer. They represent education put into practice.

We love watching our students leave with new knowledge and hands-on experience, but seeing what our alumni go on to accomplish is what makes it even more rewarding.

So come on, alumni…

SHOW US THE BABIES YOU HELPED BRING INTO THE WORLD! 👇🐴❤️

We can't wait to fill these comments with some very special foals — and some very proud Breeder’s Assistant alumni!

🐴✈️🔬 JUST ANOTHER FRIDAY AT EQUINEIVF!

Today is one of those days that really shows what teamwork at EquineIVF and the Breeders Assistant looks like.

While part of our team is helping David teach the Breeder’s Assistant classes, our Embryology Dream Team is hard at work in the lab—caring for oocytes, performing ICSI, monitoring development, and making embryos. 🧬

At the same time, Tina and our aspiration team are in Tennessee today, working with mares before catching a flight back to Texas tonight. ✈️🐴

And Carl is packing up and getting ready to head to Tomball for the week, where there will be plenty happening at the office and lab—and plenty of planning for where EquineIVF is headed next.

Classroom. Laboratory. Farm. Airport. Office.

On any given day, you might find members of our team in completely different places, but we're all working toward the same goal: helping breeders build the next generation.

It's not always glamorous. There are early mornings, late flights, long drives, and a lot happening behind the scenes—but we wouldn't have it any other way.

This is EquineIVF.
One team. Many places. One mission. 💙

🐴 Why are more people learning equine reproduction?

Because understanding the breeding process can make a difference — whether you’re managing your own mares, working in the equine industry, or looking to expand your knowledge and skills.

At Breeders Assistant, our goal is to take equine reproduction out of the textbook and put it into your hands.

Our students gain practical, hands-on experience while learning the fundamentals behind reproductive management, including mare anatomy, cycle management, ultrasound, breeding procedures, and more.

Whether you’re a breeder wanting to better understand your own program or someone interested in developing skills for a future in equine reproduction, education is where it starts.

🐴 Hands-on learning
🔬 Practical reproductive skills
📚 Education you can take home
🤝 Experienced instruction

You don't have to be a veterinarian to become more knowledgeable about the breeding process.

Learn it. See it. Do it.

🕊️ A Tennessee Legend. An American Treasure.

Today, we join so many around the world in remembering the incomparable Dolly Parton.

Dolly's music touched generations, but her legacy reached far beyond the songs she wrote and sang. Her generosity, kindness, love for her Tennessee roots, and commitment to making life better for others made her truly one of a kind.

Those of us who love horses also knew a little piece of Dolly through the beautiful horses and talented riders who have been part of Dolly Parton's Stampede for decades. She even gave us the fitting words and title “Wild Horses.” 🐴

From the mountains of East Tennessee to stages around the world, she never forgot where she came from—and she showed us just how far a dream, hard work, faith, and a generous heart could take someone.

Rest easy, Dolly. Your music, your kindness, and your legacy will ride on. 🤍

Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and the millions of people whose lives she touched.

🧬 THE NUMBERS TELL AN IMPORTANT STORY.

At the 11th International Symposium on Equine Embryo Transfer & Technologies (ISEET), EquineIVF Lab Director Marc Maserati presented research conducted by our team examining the impact of oocyte aspiration technician experience on ICSI embryo development.
And we’re extremely proud of what the data shows.

The research found that oocytes aspirated by experienced OPU teams produced a significantly higher percentage of blastocysts—demonstrating that experience at the very beginning of the ICSI process matters.

But there’s another number on this poster that we believe deserves attention:
76% INITIAL PREGNANCY RATE. 🐴🧬

Producing an embryo is only part of the story. Ultimately, we want the embryos our laboratory produces to have the opportunity to become pregnancies—and eventually healthy foals.

Our 2026 data presented at ISEET shows:
65% Oocyte Maturation
20% Blastocyst Rate of Aspirated Oocytes
76% Initial Pregnancy Rate

These aren't just numbers for us. They represent years of experience, continual research, attention to every step of the process, and our team's commitment to improving outcomes for the breeders who trust EquineIVF with some of their most valuable genetics.
We’re incredibly proud of Marc and the entire EquineIVF team for not only doing the work, but also contributing our findings to the broader equine reproductive community at an international scientific conference.

You can listen to Marc explain this poster on our YouTube channel at this link: https://youtu.be/TgkDcg_dYdE?feature=shared

Research. Education. Experience. Results.

That’s how we continue Building the Future. One Embryo at a Time.™
