Our washing machintle officially called it quits, and we go through A LOT of laundry around here! 😅 If anyone has a gently used, working washing machine they would be willing to donate to TCC, we would be so incredibly grateful!

It’s hard to believe summer is already almost over! We’ve loved having Miss Mallory with us at TCC this summer and are so thankful for all the fun she’s brought to our days. 💛

We are excited to officially open enrollment for the 2026–2027 Bright Futures Academy school year! 🎉

Bright Futures Academy is our state-funded kindergarten readiness program for children who are 4 years old by September 1st, focused on learning through play while building the skills and confidence children need for kindergarten. 💙

✨ And yes — children CAN attend both public school 4K AND Bright Futures Academy! Bright Futures can be used alongside your child’s public school 4K schedule, giving families another opportunity for structured learning and kindergarten readiness throughout the week.

✏️ Kindergarten readiness based on Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards
🎨 Hands-on learning, play, art, science & more
🥣 Breakfast, lunch & snack included

✨ NOW ENROLLING: Bright Futures Academy 4K! ✨

We are so excited to officially open enrollment for Bright Futures Academy, our FREE, state-funded 4K program at Tomahawk Child Care! 💙🌈

Bright Futures Academy is designed to give children a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate preschool experience while preparing them for a successful transition to Kindergarten.

Here’s what families can expect:
🌞 FREE 4K program funded by the State of Wisconsin
📚 Children may attend both Tomahawk School District 4K and Bright Futures Academy
🧩 Hands-on learning focused on Kindergarten readiness
🍎 Breakfast, lunch, and snacks included
⏰ Full-day program from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
🚗 Before and after school care available for families who need extended care
❤️ No income restrictions – all eligible families are welcome!

To enroll, children must be 4 years old by September 1st.

Our Infant-Mobiles had so much fun diving into an ocean adventure this week with Miss Kaytlynn! From colorful fish to silly crabs and beautiful jellyfish, our littlest learners explored the wonders of the sea through hands-on creativity.

We love watching them explore new textures, colors, and creative experiences as they learn and grow every day. 💙

We’re so excited to welcome our very first class of Bright Futures Academy students this fall!

Our Get Kids Ready program is designed to help children build confidence, independence, and kindergarten readiness through hands-on learning, play, and meaningful experiences in a nurturing environment.

✨ Who can enroll?
Children who will be 4 years old by September 1 and are eligible for Wisconsin’s Get Kids Ready program.
