Hi there. We are under a BLIZZARD WARNING through Monday afternoon. The warning indicates that travel is restricted to emergency personnel. It is to be expected that we will have 40-55mph wind gusts and another 8-12 inches of snow. I have closed both Leaps & Bounds Child Care and Chicken Hill Childcare for Monday, March 16, 2026. Sorry if this causes you an inconvenience. I am just doing my part to keep the families and staff safe. Stay safe everyone! Thank you for understanding, Tammy.

Good morning. For only the third time in 14 years, we have no choice but to close the daycare for the day. Roads are impassable and I am not able to get to the center to open up. On behalf of all the staff and owner at Leaps and Bounds, we are terribly sorry. Please stay home if possible, stay safe. Much love to all, we'll see you on Monday.

With food uncertainty bringing a new set of worries to our community, our sister company, Chicken Hill Child Care, has set up a little free pantry at their center. We are actively seeking non-perishable food items and toiletries to help our neighbors. Items or monetary donations can be dropped of at either site. Thank you so much for considering to help.

With rummage sale season coming to an end and our children continuing to grow, please consider donating your gently used winter gear to our local Coats for Kids program. We are a drop off site again this year. Thank you!

The driveway got some attention today and was brought up to a reasonable standard. Some potholes are inevitable, but we can slow the development and progression of their growth by simply doing our part and slowing down. It's an expensive project to have to do every year, let's all do our best to keep it nice so we don't have to change our rates to help fund this. We appreciate your cooperation!
