We have great progress to celebrate! Comparing the 2024โ2025 school year to the 2025โ2026 school year, our district decreased chronic absenteeism by 12 percentage points, reflecting the collective efforts of our students, families, teachers, staff, and school leaders.
Students who miss 10 percent or more of their enrolled school days are considered chronically absent and are at greater risk of missing important learning opportunities. By reducing chronic absenteeism, more of our Treasures are in classrooms learning, building relationships, participating, and growing.
This progress demonstrates that our districtwide focus on attendance is making a difference. We will continue working together to keep our Treasures connected, engaged, and learning every day.
