Kicking off the first of our new series, meet the subgroup; B.O.S.S (Business, Outreach, Spirit, Social media)! They handle everything non-technical including art, design, marketing, spirit, newsletters, and everything in-between including running our social media!

RAGE is all set up at the Tolland Harvest Fest this morning. Stop by and say hi! ⚙️
We'll also be in Ellington at a parade this afternoon. Double events!

Coming up- an annual favorite with a NEW location!
Pumpkin Chuckin' will be held at Burke Ridge Farms in Ellington this year.
$5 to chuck a pumpkin into the cow field with our brand new trebuchet!

Last week, we welcomed some new students to the team!
RAGE tryouts aren't really tryouts, it's all about teamwork and learning if we can all work together.

Tonight- try outs!
We call them try outs, but really we just play a bunch of games to get to know each other and make sure everyone works well together.
We spend A LOT of time together, so It's really important that the team dynamics mesh.

This weekend we are at Camp AnSeOx in Oxford for an Introduction to Robotics weekend. The afternoon session has been cancelled, so only registration for the morning session is open. If you are in the Oxford area or want to take a drive, come see us! Program is completely free.

FRC may be on summer break, but RAGE is still going! The team voted to continue meeting during the summer and get some projects off the list.
One of our students is working on her Girl Scout Gold Award, and we have partnered with Girl Scouts of CT to offer some Intro to Robotics workshops.
We will have two dates- one at Camp AnSeOx in Oxford and one at Camp Yankee Trails in Tolland. Check out the flyer or message us for more details.
