From the College of Law's Immigrant Justice Clinic to a 2026 Justice Fellowship.
IJC Fellows serve for two years, working on the frontlines of the immigration crisis, advocating for detained immigrants, asylum seekers, and families who would otherwise face the system without a single advocate in their corner.
Congrats Raul!
Selected for their exceptional talent and deep compassion, our 2026 Justice Fellows will provide quality legal representation to detained immigrants, asylum seekers, families, and children who cannot afford counsel.
For Fellows like Raul Rodrigues, joining IJC means representing a community he feels deeply passionate about.
"Many immigrants must navigate a complex and unforgiving legal system, often without understanding the language, procedures, or consequences involved," Raul said. "On the other hand, immigrants continue to strengthen the United States through their labor, entrepreneurship, and cultural contributions, sustaining industries and communities across the country. Their presence and work are deeply woven into the nation’s economic growth and social vitality."
