Currently enrolling for the Ohio Preschool Program. If your child is 4 yrs old, ready to attend full day preschool, toilet trained and you have your own transportation, we have a place for you. Program runs Mon. thru Thurs. from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
For funding assistance apply online through the JFS Ohio benefits portal for OPP the Ohio Preschool Program. Make sure to complete and upload everything in the application. Also, make sure to select our Child Care Program, East Toledo Family Center Kids Kare as your preferred site. Once you have applied come in and pick up a preregistration packet and Call Cheryl at 419-691-1429 ext: 204 or email me at [email protected].

Happening today in the ETFC front lobby: Toledo Water and Sewer Outreach Events Help Customers Catch Up on Past-Due Bills
TOLEDO, OH — The City of Toledo is hosting a series of community outreach events to connect residential water and sewer customers with relief options for past-due balances, including the city's new Fresh Start program.

Customers can meet one-on-one with customer service representatives at any of the following events to review their account and find out what assistance they qualify for:

Tonight, August 12, 2–6 p.m. — East Toledo Family Center, 1020 Varland Ave.

Open house tomorrow Thurs. Aug 6, 2026 - If you have a child that is 3 or 4 years old and potty trained ready to start preschool, stop by to explore our program and start the enrollment process from 5:00 to 7:00 pm

ETFC will be holding an open house for all of our programs on Thurs. Aug. 6 from 5 to 7 pm. . Please come out to see what ETFC has to offer families or individuals in our community. Representatives from each one of our programs will be here to share information on what resources we can connect you with, as well as sign you up for specific programming. ⚽️ COACHES NEEDED! ⚽️

East Toledo Family Center is looking for dedicated volunteer coaches to help make this season an amazing experience for our young athletes! No matter your level of coaching experience, your time, encouragement, and leadership can make a lasting impact.

Help our players:

✅ Build confidence
✅ Learn teamwork and sportsmanship
✅ Develop new skills
✅ Have fun and stay active

Our program is open to youth in Pre-K through 6th grade, and we need caring community members to help lead and support our teams!
