Our infants dressed up in adorable construction-worker gear, explored soft blocks, and worked hard to build towers while strengthening their fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving abilities, and creativity. Every stack, tumble, and rebuild brought smiles, curiosity, and plenty of proud little moments—our infants are already building big dreams! THLA is so proud of our tiny construction crew!

Our little firefighters had an exciting day learning about community helpers!

Today, we talked about the important job firefighters do to help keep our communities safe. The children made their own firefighter hats and badges, then practiced putting out a pretend fire using water bottles. They had so much fun spraying the “flames” that they didn’t want to stop!

Our THLA infants had a wonderful time learning about community helpers, with a special focus on firefighters! Our little learners became bug-and-animal rescuers today at THLA! They practiced fine-motor skills as they carefully worked to “save” the trapped bugs and animals from Tupperware, bags, rubber bands, and tape.

This hands-on activity encouraged problem-solving, patience, coordination, and gentle care for living things while making learning fun!

Our school-age artists had an incredible time during THLA’s 7th Annual Art Camp with Mrs. Willis! This week was filled with color, creativity, texture, and hands-on imagination.

Students designed beautiful custom mirror frames by using colorful paint markers and adding a variety of materials to create bold, textured masterpieces. Each frame was completely unique and reflected the artist behind it.

They also created lovely pressed-flower lanterns, carefully arranging flowers and using Mod Podge to secure them into beautiful designs. The finished lanterns are truly special!

And the creativity is still growing—today, our artists began making textured cupcakes. We cannot wait to share pictures of their sweet-looking creations tomorrow!

Thank you, Mrs. Willis, for seven wonderful years of inspiring our THLA students to explore, create, and express themselves through art.

Water Day Monday at THLA was a big splash! Our friends enjoyed sensory water play with splash pad/small pools as they explored, poured, scooped, and splashed while strengthening fine motor skills, practicing turn-taking with friends, and discovering cause-and-effect in a hands-on way. Laughter, movement, and lots of messy fun filled the day—our little learners left happier, wetter, and proud of everything they tried today.
