As we prepare to close the Reynolds location of Carnation Early Learning Center, it feels impossible to put into words everything this building has held over the years.
So many little feet have walked through these doors. Babies who learned to crawl, toddlers who learned to talk, preschoolers who learned to write their names, and children who proudly graduated and moved on to their next big adventure. Watching children grow here has been one of the greatest honors of our lives.
This space has been filled with laughter, learning, friendships, and milestones. Countless holiday parties, themed weeks, spirit days, messy art projects, birthdays, and celebrations. There were happy tears, hard days, proud moments, and so much love in between. These walls have seen first steps, first words, and first friendships.
To our incredible staff, past and present: thank you. You showed up every day with patience, creativity, and heart. You made children feel safe, seen, and loved. You comforted them when they were sad, celebrated them when they succeeded, and made a lasting difference in ways you may never fully know.
To our families: thank you for trusting us with your children. Thank you for the years of support, kindness, understanding, and partnership. Being part of your child’s early years is something we never take lightly, and we are deeply grateful for every family who chose Carnation.
While this chapter is coming to an end, the impact of this center will always live on in the children, families, and staff who were part of it. Reynolds will forever be a part of our story, and we will always carry the memories made here with us.
