Carnation Early Learning Center Reynolds

As we prepare to close the Reynolds location of Carnation Early Learning Center, it feels impossible to put into words everything this building has held over the years.

So many little feet have walked through these doors. Babies who learned to crawl, toddlers who learned to talk, preschoolers who learned to write their names, and children who proudly graduated and moved on to their next big adventure. Watching children grow here has been one of the greatest honors of our lives.

This space has been filled with laughter, learning, friendships, and milestones. Countless holiday parties, themed weeks, spirit days, messy art projects, birthdays, and celebrations. There were happy tears, hard days, proud moments, and so much love in between. These walls have seen first steps, first words, and first friendships.

To our incredible staff, past and present: thank you. You showed up every day with patience, creativity, and heart. You made children feel safe, seen, and loved. You comforted them when they were sad, celebrated them when they succeeded, and made a lasting difference in ways you may never fully know.

To our families: thank you for trusting us with your children. Thank you for the years of support, kindness, understanding, and partnership. Being part of your child’s early years is something we never take lightly, and we are deeply grateful for every family who chose Carnation.

While this chapter is coming to an end, the impact of this center will always live on in the children, families, and staff who were part of it. Reynolds will forever be a part of our story, and we will always carry the memories made here with us.

🐷 Letter P Week Fun! 🐷

Learning was extra sweet during Letter P week! The children practiced tracing the letter P with their fingers in chocolate pudding, building early writing skills while engaging their senses. And yes, the best part was getting to taste it afterward 😋

Ms. Carissa is one of those people who fits in everywhere - she builds relationships with every child, keeps them engaged, and always has thoughtful ideas to help our center grow. We hope she has the best birthday! 🎂✨

We had an O-so fun Letter O Week at Carnation!

The kids played with oatmeal playdough, practiced cutting with an orange scissor skills sensory bin, painted ocean animals, created a tie-dye octopus, and even enjoyed a special Oreo treat for snack.

So much creativity, fine motor practice, and hands-on learning packed into one week! 💛

🅝 Letter N Week Fun! ❄️🎣

This week we explored the Letter N with lots of hands-on, sensory fun!

The kids created art with noodles, used nets to catch fish in our water sensory table, and even brought the snow inside for a wintery sensory bin experience.

So much learning, creativity, and excitement all in one week! 💙

If you’ve ever wondered why our center always smells amazing… it’s because of Ms. Wendy! She prepares the most delicious meals for our kids every day, and we are so grateful for the care she puts into everything she makes.

But she doesn’t stop there — Ms. Wendy is always willing to jump in and help in the classrooms whenever we need an extra hand. Whether she’s comforting a little one or helping with an activity, she’s truly a team player and such an important part of our day-to-day.
