Awesome Day 2 of the OHSAA D2 Regional Meet for .xc.tf at Lexington HS! All three events below are 🚨STATE BOUND!🚨

🥇4x100M Relay - Meagen Carmack Locklear, Violet Snyder, Kennedy Kynard, & Ja’Myah Bennett. They also set a 🚨New School Record🚨 with a 47.80!

🥈Long Jump- Violet Snyder 17’ 5.75”

5th - 4x200M Relay - Cydney Owens, Michaela Henderson, Ja’Myah Bennett, & Kennedy Kynard 1:43.18.

Additionally, Ja’Myah was 8th in the 100M Dash, Kennedy was 8th in the 200M Dash, and Meagen was 10th in the long jump.

NDA’s previous 4x100M Relay record of 48.25 was set in 2011 by Destinee Battle, Chantalia Young, Kaila Gardner, & Lexis Williams.

Our Eagles will compete in the OHSAA Jesse Owens Track & Field D2 State Championship on June 6 & 7 at The Ohio State University’s Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium! Way to go ladies!

🚨REGIONAL CHAMPS, NEW SCHOOL RECORD, & STATE BOUND!🚨

Our .xc.tf 4x100M Relay team of sophomore Megan Carmack Locklear and juniors Violet Snyder, Kennedy Kynard, & Ja’Myah Bennett were 🥇 at Regionals, set a new school record with a 47.80 time, AND are headed to the OHSAA Jesse Owens Track and Field State Championship! Congratulations ladies!
