Today, Latin Dance Toledo had the opportunity to be part of an inspiring visit to International Park, now known as International Cove, alongside Michelle from The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo and members of Metroparks Toledo. ✨

We discussed exciting upcoming community events as the project celebrates reaching its halfway point, and we’re honored that Latin Dance Toledo will be involved in some of these celebrations.

We also witnessed the final installation of the beautiful 15-foot illuminated sculpture, “Starburst,” by artist Blessing Hancock and installed by Kokosing. The piece highlights the diversity and unity that make Toledo so special, featuring words like “Community,” “Unity,” “Love,” and “Resilient” in 18 different languages 🌎

We are proud to continue celebrating and representing Latin culture as part of the growth, energy, and diversity of our city ❤️
