Discovery Academy, located in Toledo, Ohio, is a tuition-free community school serving grades K-6 and focusing on 21st century skills and project-based learning. Discovery Academy strives to empower our students with tools that they may not otherwise have access to due to economic constraints. There is a need to enable them to envision the world beyond their own neighborhood. It is our desire to e

xpose them to people and places they never would have had an opportunity to meet or see. They will be empowered to see the difference they can make in their own community as they engage in project-based learning. Understanding and using technology will be an integral part of virtually every aspect of daily life for our students. It is our mission to transform the learning process with technology-infused projects beneficial to the community, while promoting collaboration, global awareness, and high student achievement.

Please look for either a Trinity bus or a Petermann bus for your student this morning. I apologize when I stated that the names will be changed on the buses, but not all of the buses have changed over. Look for both Trinity and Petermann for your child’s transportation. Thank you.
