Celebrate the Chinese New Year Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Union Auditorium. Stop by to see performances of Chinese opera, tea art, and Chinese and Western instrumental ensembles. Shop at the Asian flea market, and learn how to make dumplings, Chinese bracelets and paper lanterns.

Confucius Institute Day at The University of Toledo The Confucius Institute celebrates the 5th Anniversary of the Confucius Institute at The University of Toledo. Saturday, September 27.

On 10/10/2014 (6:30-8:30), we will be hosting “ITS CHINA” a the Toledo Museum of Art. There will be musical performances, a Chinese wine tasting, tea tasting in the Cloisters, and a traditional dragon dance as well as offering classes in paper cutting, Beijing Opera mask painting, traditional Chinese games such as mahjong and go. There will be a focus on Chinese art in the museum. Come to join us!

The Confucius Institute invites you to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the Confucius Institute at The University of Toledo. Experience Chinese culture through art and activities, such as Chinese calligraphy, drawing a Beijing opera mask, sculpting dough figurines and much more on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from noon to 5 p.m. at The University of Toledo, Main Campus, Student Union Auditorium.
