Over the next few days, we will recognize each of our 8th Grade Leadership Award Recipients. 🏆

Only one CYO student athlete from each parish/school receives this award each year. Nominees are submitted by each Athletic Director.

🙌Congratulations to Leo Rayfield of St Patrick of Heatherdowns!

Leo is a CYO cross country, soccer, basketball, and track & field athlete.

From his Principal:

"Leo is a well-rounded and dedicated student whose achievements reflect both academic excellence and active involvement in his school, parish, and community. He has consistently earned Honor Roll recognition and advanced to both the Regional and State Science Fair competitions this year. Leo has been a valued member of the WSPH Morning Announcements Team and has participated in St. Patrick School musicals since Aladdin in 2019.

An accomplished athlete, Leo competed in cross country, soccer, basketball, and track & field, where he specialized as a thrower. Beyond the classroom and athletic fields, he is a Boy Scout and serves on the technology team for weekend Masses. Leo is also committed to serving others, volunteering at the White Elephant Sale and supporting the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry collection. His leadership, service, and enthusiasm make him a positive role model."

Both our 10u softball teams played each other tonight. It was a warm one but the girls played great. We shortened the game and then took the girls to Shivers Ice Cream. What a fun night with the Irish Softball teams
