The annual Welcome Back Professional Development and BBQ kicked off the start of the new school year! Our educators spent the day learning about Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and innovative ways to leverage these technologies to improve WebXam data and student performance on end-of-course state assessments. They also explored the great outdoors through a session focused on Sylvania Parks and the many opportunities for outdoor learning and engagement.
It was a great day of learning, collaboration, and connecting with colleagues as we prepare for another successful school year!

Career Tech students from Scott High School, Rogers High School, ANSAT, and TTAE recently completed an eight-week internship with the City of Toledo and Woodlawn Cemetery, where they gained valuable hands-on experience in urban forestry.
During today's culminating demonstration, students showcased their skills in tree identification, proper pruning techniques, and the safe use of ropes tree climbing.
This internship provides students with meaningful career exploration opportunities while fostering awareness and advocacy for urban forestry. It also strengthens the workforce pipeline by preparing the next generation of skilled professionals to support the health, sustainability, and growth of Toledo's urban forest.
