Meet Breezi Jacob’s, Polly Fox Academy’s May Student of the Month.
Breezi is a bright ray of sunshine to Polly Fox. She began at Polly Fox in March 2018 after having been out of school since last year. She has done everything necessary to get back into school and is devoted to graduating. She is here everyday and academically, she is on task. No matter what, she gives it her all. She is respected by all students and staff and is always encouraging others. She has become the “unofficial” spokesperson for the school. Her devotion to her son and her family are remarkable.
One added special note, Breezi did an amazing job reading the graduate bios at our 2018 graduation ceremony last evening - Like a PRO.
Please help me in congratulating Breezi, and encourage her to keep going higher!

I am also pleased to share that Kathy was also a April, 2017 Head Full of Dreams Student of the Month.
She is a pretty special young woman.
Meanwhile, here's what Kathy wrote:
"What inspired my poem was finding out an old friend of mine lost his life from a he**in overdose, less than a mile from my home. It affects so many more people than you realize, and it’s a sad reality in many neighborhoods."

Silence, until you hear
the ambulance sirens.
Your friend took his last breath;
sirens.
Now silence.
Hope to see you at the Ode to the Zip Code!
