Our first Apple Tree Family Reunion!

I am thinking about the family in my community that is struggling to feel safe tonight after awakening to a hateful message painted on their garage door. I am thinking about other similar families living in my community who are fearful of other acts of hatred. If wishing made it so, hate would be eliminated. Since it doesn’t, it’s time to stand united and act. Don’t let the haters be the only voices our neighbors hear! Make your stand clear. Let your neighbors know that you stand united with peace-loving people of all races, religions and political affiliations. UNITED WE STAND.
Print off the image or post a heart shaped American flag in your window for 2017 to tell your neighbors UNITED WE STAND. Let this heart shaped flag symbolize our commitment to our neighbors and ourselves as we move forward in love and not retreat into fear. Dr. Martin Luther King said it best when he said “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” Keep his dream alive and Stand United in Love America.

As this era is coming to an end, I invite all of our Apple Tree family members current and past to do the same! Apple Tree has been many things to many people! Please share what Apple Tree has meant to you!
