The Preschool Program is the beginning of a child’s Learning Ladders Educational Center's journey; a perfect foundation for becoming competent, compassionate, collaborative, and creative global citizens. Children entering Learning Ladders Educational Center LLC classrooms begin their educational journey immediately. Students quickly and successfully adjust to the concepts of school and learning in this nurturing environment. The classrooms are set up with a variety of learning centers that encourage and stimulate curiosity and interest. These centers contain materials that reinforce fundamental language, number, and motor skills while encouraging creativity, problem solving, independent learning, and the development of sound work habits.Students in the preschool attend music twice weekly, visit the library, and have physical education . Students in the prekindergarten, participate in art, music, physical education, and Spanish/Sign language. Children must be 30 months (2.5 years) old by the start of the school year to enroll in our Preschool Program. Children are not required to be toilet-trained to enroll in Preschool but it is expected. We provide infant care, before school and after school care for School Age children as well. Our teams of expert educators have a deep understanding of child development, and they use this knowledge to focus on the “whole child.” We ensure that each student’s cognitive, social-emotional, and physical needs are being met, while paying careful attention to the many unique communication and learning styles of young children. Students in the preschool attend music twice weekly, visit the library, and have physical education once per week. Students in the prekindergarten, junior kindergarten, and kindergarten participate in art, music, physical education, and Spanish language.
