University of Toledo IISC IISC is built upon an Interdisciplinary "Tri-Center Concept" incorporating 3D/VIR; Advanced Clinical Simulation; and Progressive Anatomy & Surgical Skills

The University of Toledo Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center (UT-IISC) is transforming the way health care professionals learn to care for patients and interact with each other across medical disciplines –enhancing patient safety and clinical quality. Built upon a “Tri-Center” concept, the UT-IISC is comprised of a Virtual Immersive Reality Center, an Advanced Clinical Simulation Center,

and a Progressive Anatomy & Surgical Skills Center, and was purposefully designed to allow for interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration between the three centers. The synergy created between the three centers of the UT-IISC offer a unique collaborative environment for unsurpassed learning, innovation, and research & development opportunities - not just within UT but regionally, nationally, and internationally. Additionally, the UT-IISC offers transformative opportunities for learners in other disciplines spanning the Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Engineering. The UT-IISC mission is to greatly improve the human condition and to advance knowledge through excellence in learning, discovery and engagement.
