The Early Preschool room have been talking all about their feelings this week during their Building The Classroom Community study! They talked about a time they’ve felt sad and what made them feel that way, then painted a picture to represent the feeling, while practicing identifying what it looks like to feel sad! Of course we had to practice our silly faces too! 🤪 🎨

Dramatic play is a crucial early learning tool kids use to start to understand and implement social interactions, social emotional skills, their communication skills, and put their imagination and creativity to work! Plus it’s so much fun to play dress up!🥼 👗 👖

These 4 year olds are ready to start their Preschool adventure! We started our Building Our Classroom Community study this morning where they will be learning all about our school, their classmates, and the teachers in our school! We can’t wait to have a wonderful year with these kiddos!

Our school age kids are ending their summer with a Tree study! This morning we went outside and observed the trees surrounding our playground and drew pictures of the trees they saw!

As a part of the Pets study the toddlers are doing, they got to visit with Max the fish in the Early Preschool room! They talked all about the aquarium and the different plants and decorations in the tank, and all about the beautiful colors on Max!
